Hi. I’m Mariana Botello.

 

A graphic designer. Creative Director at Parallax. Partner in a women’s football project. And someone who definitely has more ideas than hours in the day a problem I’ve decided not to solve.

 

I’ve been in design, advertising, and marketing for over a decade now, and somehow, it still excites me. Not in a performative way, not for an Instagram caption. I mean genuinely the kind of excitement you feel for things you chose, even when no one asked you to.

 

I’ve painted sculptures that ended up in Cuba and on Reforma. I’ve created murals on sports courts. I’ve built brands people use every day without knowing I’m behind them.

 

I like to think: if it doesn’t exist, create it. Not a cliché it’s just how my brain has processed problems for as long as I can remember.

 

This space exists because I needed somewhere that could hold everything I am, without having to choose. The work. The visual obsessions. The opinions no one asked for but I’ll share anyway. The things too good to keep to myself.
